"Anatomical reconfigurations with latex on live models."

This provocative postcard features a striking conceptual photograph of two live models transformed through sculptural latex applications. Their bodies are painted in contrasting blue and red tones, with stretched latex forms creating dramatic extensions and connections between them.

Set against an industrial backdrop, the piece explores themes of tension, separation, and connection through anatomical reconfiguration. Bold and avant garde, this design makes a powerful statement about the complexity of human relationships and the physical and emotional forces that bind us.

CREATOR

Leeroy New

Leeroy New

Leeroy New is a contemporary Filipino multidisciplinary artist whose visionary practice spans sculpture, installation, film, theatre, fashion, and public art. Born in 1986 in General Santos City and now based in Manila, he studied at the Philippine High School for the Arts and the College of Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines. Leeroy is known for large-scale, otherworldly installations made from repurposed and found materials—transforming everyday detritus into fantastical environments that interrogate imagination, ecology, and cultural identity. His work has been exhibited internationally at major venues including the Singapore Biennale and Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale, and he has collaborated on fashion and performance projects with global creatives.

Driven by a commitment to material exploration and public engagement, Leeroy’s art often blurs boundaries between design and narrative, inviting viewers into immersive worlds where myth, folklore, and speculative futures converge. Beyond gallery spaces, he has created iconic large-scale installations that engage with ecological and social themes, using recycled elements to reflect on sustainability, community, and Filipino ingenuity. Throughout his work, Leeroy continues to expand what contemporary Philippine art can be—bridging creative disciplines while shaping vibrant, thought-provoking visual experiences.
