Alburoto (Aldrin Tamidles) is a Filipino visual artist from Kawit, Cavite, best known for his graphic, editorial-cartoon-inspired work that uses surreal imagery and sharp humor to critique contemporary life. His minimalist compositions often feature youthful figures and pop culture references that blend social commentary with accessible wit, creating pieces that resonate widely online and in gallery settings.
Emerging from editorial cartooning in elementary school, Alburoto refined his style through a BFA in Advertising from Technological University of the Philippines.
Since then, he's quickly made a name with solo exhibitions in Australia, Taiwan, and regular group shows across the Philippines. His playful yet pointed pieces continue to attract local and international audiences alike.
