Carlos "Cee" Cadid
Carlos “Cee” Cadid, born in Hagonoy, Bulacan in 1954, embarked on his professional artistic journey in 1976 as a member of the esteemed “Saturday Group,” under the tutelage of renowned artist H. R. Ocampo. Guided by mentor Sonofrio Y. Mendoza, Cee refined his skills even further and emerged as a distinguished portrait and realism artist in the Philippines.
His portfolio boasts notable works, including portraits of prominent figures such as the Juan Ponce Enrile family, Ramon Cojuangco, Freddie Aguilar, Miss Universe titleholders Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray, among others. Today, as the president of Grupo Kwadro since its establishment in 2015, Cee leads a collective of esteemed visual artists, facilitating portrait sketching sessions and collaborative practices, enriching the Filipino art landscape.
