About Carlos
Carlos “Cee” Cadid, born in Hagonoy, Bulacan in 1954, embarked on his professional artistic journey in 1976 as part of the esteemed “Saturday Group,” led by the renowned Filipino artist, H. R. Ocampo.
Guided by mentor Sonofrio Y. Mendoza, Carlos further honed his skills, emerging as one of the Philippines' premier portrait and realism artists. To date, his portfolio boasts portraits of notable figures such as the Juan Ponce Enrile family, Ramon Cojuangco, and Miss Universe titleholders Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray.
As the current president of Grupo Kwadro, founded in 2015, Carlos leads a community of distinguished visual artists, fostering collaboration and artistic growth through portrait sketching sessions and shared practice.
