Archie Oclos

Archie Oclos (b. 1989, Manila) is a socially-engaged visual artist whose site-specific works seek to amplify the voices of marginalized communities across the Philippines.
A licensed painter from the University of the Philippines Diliman, Archie’s practice centers around immersive community work and his public works—rendered in bold lines and limited palettes—are designed to pause passersby and awaken social awareness.
Raised in a farming family in Catanduanes, Archie’s early life in the rice fields continues to inform his focus on rural, Indigenous, and working-class subjects. A recipient of the CCP Thirteen Artists Award (2018) and Ateneo Art Awards (2019), as well as a 2024 Asian Cultural Council Fellowship and twice Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, Archie continues to bridge art and advocacy through his bold, community-driven interventions.
