Under the brand MCV Designs, Mia Villanueva has been creating fashion accessories for the past 15 years. She mainly focuses on bags and fashion jewelry, but dabbles with other accessories. The designs are always stylish, fun, yet affordable, wearable and practical. MCV Designs always uses local Philippine material such as pandan, raffia, buntal, water lily and rattan. Because of Mia's recent affiliation with HABI, The Philippine Textile Council, most of the new designs incorporate handwoven Philippine textiles.

MCV Designs wants to create wearable pieces that everyone can have fun with. The main goal however, is also to help promote local materials as well as give local weavers and artisans continuous work and income.
