Introducing the 'Junk Not Anak ng Tupa' (Sheep's Child) set, a luxurious collection of thoughtfully crafted, upcycled furniture.
This is dedicated to the number of sheep in the Garcia farm that died from eating plastic wastes while grazing. Reflecting on human negligence, Willie decided to recreate a chair set, where humans spend their time to think, using upcycled plastic wastes. By upcycling plastic wastes in her collection, Willie hopes to keep these toxic materials out of animals’ stomachs and the ecosystem.
Combining metal frames, wooden legs, and 15 kilos of recycled plastics from food packaging, this set of a main chair and foot stool provides a stylish and exclusive way to admire the beauty of sustainability while reflecting on human negligence.
The main chair is 80cm in diameter, and the footstool 45cm, making this the perfect set to relax with a mindful conscience.

Willie Garcia is a licensed designer and founder of Junk Not, an eco-friendly company specializing in upcycled furniture, homeware, and accessories. Inspired by coastal and barangay cleanups, Willie experimented with creating products from plastic waste, seeking to keep discarded materials out of landfills and incinerators.
Currently, Junk Not works with the Taal community to create roped plastics for all their products, which have been exhibited globally and recognized by local and international organizations and government agencies.
