"Katol sa Palayok" roughly translates to 'mosquito coil inside an earthen pot'. The term 'katol' though actually literally translates to 'itchy' in Tagalog, but due to a famous Japanese brand of mosquito coils back in the 90s, 'katol' became a term that Filipinos use to refer to the coil.

To maintain the burner's cleanliness, use a soft brush or cloth to remove any loose dirt. If necessary, you can delicately wash the burner with soap and allow it to dry facing downwards.
