About Mia

Born in 1970 in Manila Philippines, Mia Herbosa gathered a uniquely close following for her art at a very young age.

Her career essentially started after she graduated from Ateneo de Manila University in 1991, and through years of learning at the Art Students League in New York, her works were exhibited in various galleries throughout the world. She also garnered prestigious awards from distinguished organizations such as the Edward McDowell Travel Grant, and more recently in 2004, she has even been awarded an O-1 U.S. visa as an Alien of Extraordinary Ability in the Arts in New York.

Mia's exhibitions have reached far and wide around the USA, Philippines, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore as well as Italy, and her works of art are surely a depiction, if not a journal, of her soul.
