Penelope Bag

The Penelope – a compact, round structured handbag crafted from water hyacinth (bancuang) sourced from Pampanga, handwoven in a sibat weave and accentuated with a rattan top edge. She is reinforced with a lightweight steel frame.

Her natural brown tones are complemented by a handle wrapped in abaca from Catanduanes, a pairing that creates a warm contrast in both texture and hue.

She features a removable canvas lining with a black drawstring closure, secured with a bow tied at the front. Personalize her with our interchangeable ribbon set, available in four signature shades: wine red, blush pink, baby blue, and deep blue.

Care Instructions

For mild stains or dirt
Pat the area dry and clean with an alcohol-soaked cloth (you can also use wet wipes).

For noticeable stains or dirt
Brush the area with soap and rinse under running water (repeat if needed)

For unwanted fluffs due to daily use
Carefully cut the fluffs with a pair of scissors or a nipper. Damp dry or clean the area using alcohol or soap under running water. Once dry, use a hot air heat gun, maintaining a 3-5cm distance at a 45-degree angle, until fully dry.
