Raciónamento, founded by Joanna Santelices, is a heritage-rooted brand that reimagines her grandmother’s legacy through contemporary design and traditional Filipino craftsmanship.

Inspired by memories of growing up in her grandmother Minda’s home-turned-workshop, where the scent of rattan lingered and hands moved with purpose, Joanna established Raciónamento to honor and carry forward the craft she was raised around. What began as a quiet, homegrown business in the 1980s crafting rattan furniture has blossomed into a line of thoughtful, small-batch wicker bags that celebrate both form and function.
