The Auditor is an attempt to express the idea of re-assessing our truths symbolized by walls by the way they are often structured and constructed.
The saying "building high walls" is recalled here and functions as a metaphor for our biases, insecurities, and our sense of guardedness that often blindsides us. The work serves as an invitation to critique our structured, constructed, and often contradicting thinking.
KR notes the relation of the idea of building blocks both in play in youth and in adulthood in trying to reinvent the self important to the artwork.
