Nina graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila with a degree in Fine Arts, majoring in Industrial Design. Her background in design informs the creative direction of baO Artisan Candles, from the use of coconut shells as vessels to the nature‑inspired packaging and décor.

Nina has facilitated the Wonderfully Made candle‑making workshop as well as bridal shower candle‑making parties, where participants experienced the joy of creating artisan candles in a collaborative setting.
