I’ve always believed that art doesn’t have an expiration date. I’m still as curious as ever, always experimenting with color, texture, and form, whether it’s paint on canvas or a slab of leather on my workbench.
Sunday Leathercraft grew from that same love of creating.I don’t see my journal covers as just accessories. I see them as everyday objects designed to be both beautiful and functional. I’m drawn to sculptural forms and unexpected details, which is why many of my designs feature scalloped edges or original pieces like the Butterfly Journal.
Every cover is made by hand in my studio, from selecting the leather to the final stitch. Some pieces are hand-painted and dyed , while others are left natural so the beauty of the leather can shine through. I enjoy letting the material guide the process, so no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
I make leather covers for people who appreciate handmade things. Not perfect, but personal. I hope each one becomes something worth keeping.
