Jamie Samson is a multidisciplinary visual artist known for her distinctive Cubist Pop Art and Pop Expressionism. Her practice moves across painting, abstraction, and other material explorations, united by an expressive approach to color, form, movement, and emotion. Her work is rooted in experimentation and an ongoing pursuit of a visual language that feels unmistakably her own.
Her signature Cubist Pop Art women, now represented through the Hermosa Series, form a significant part of her artistic identity. Her broader practice includes the Gardenia Series, Lips Series, Flow Series, and Pop Cats Series, alongside continuing mixed media explorations that extend beyond these established bodies of work.
Samson studied Visual Communication at the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts. Her works have been presented in local and international exhibitions, with exhibitions and art presentations spanning Manila, Tagaytay, and Clark in the Philippines, as well as Dubai, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, and Toronto. Her practice has reached audiences across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North America, while remaining grounded in her perspective as a contemporary Filipina artist. Her works have also entered private and corporate collections.
She is the founder of Overflow Creatives Art Studio Inc., the studio and creative platform through which she develops, presents, and builds her evolving artistic practice.
Samson continues to expand her practice through curiosity, experimentation, and a willingness to explore beyond familiar boundaries. Across changing forms, mediums, and ideas, her work remains anchored in the belief that art is an ongoing process of discovery, connection, and becoming.
