Blossom marks Jamie Samson’s exploration of Kinusaiga, a Japanese textile art technique that translates imagery through carefully selected fabrics and hand worked surfaces. The piece reinterprets the familiar form of a flower through her Cubist Pop Art language, using vivid color, pattern, and geometric fragmentation.

This work is part of Samson’s emerging Kinusaiga practice, where her original designs move beyond paint and into textile. Through this process, fabric becomes color, texture, and form, allowing her visual language to take on an entirely different physical character.
